The new X Factor champion Matt Cardle premiered the music video for "When We Collide" earlier this week. This cover of Scottish band Biffy Clyro's song is Matt C's debut single and it was released in the UK after the X Factor's finale ended this last Sunday. As of now, Matt's "When We Collide" has sold over 245,000 copies, putting him well ahead of Rihanna's "What's My Name" - with only 68,000 copies. So it's quite clear which song is going to be #1 when the charts in the UK are updated this next Sunday. Early congrats to Matt! As for the new music video of "When We Collide"...it's super dull but I guess it doesn't matter at this point. His single is a hit. The clip features the boy from Essex performing the tune on a stage with a guitar mixed with old footage of his passage on 'The X Factor'. Check it out.
