Where can I start; I guess I need to start with charm, sophistication and determination.
These are three attributes I would associate with Paul aka Bwoy wonder.
He has managed to make a clear firm mark for himself on the world using – a children’s toy product.
While many of us played with our lego and lost the pieces – Paul Allimadi was ingeniously masterminding a ‘gold-mine’.
Identical twins with previous KiDeSo Interviewee; underground sensation rapper Illamadi; Paul took another route away from music directly – but still using the music
industry.
His client list grows by the day; his inventions are popping out one after the other - the man has a talent that is 2nd to none!!
So, he’s conquered the ‘Lego Brick Road’, he’s got L4L all sewn up – Is that the top of his game – nah – this man has got a long road to travel and a mighty long way to
go – not because he isn’t already at the top of his game ‘now’ – but because he has so much more to give!!
To quote one of his favourite artists – “he don’t stop and he won’t stop”
A man that can boast names such Pharrell, Diddy, Ginuwine, Russell Simmons, Will.I.Am and many, many others as clients – whether it be ‘Lego Bricks’ or ‘Lyrics 4

Can you start by telling us a little bit about yourself and what you do please?
I’m Bwoywonder, aka The Creator Of The LEGO Brick Chains aka The Plastic Surgeon!
I [hail] from North London & am a designer working to change the fashion game!
How old are you? Ageless!
Are you single? Yes
Tell us about ‘Lego’ and what you do with it and when you started working with it?
I started using Lego building blocks from early! As a kid it was my fave toy as you could make any other toy with it. 2 Years ago I started designing jewellery using Lego bricks
and since then a host of celebs and fashionable people of London city have been seen wearing it out & about
Is Lego your first creation or have you worked with other materials before perfecting this one?
I use all different types of material in any design process Lego is what I specialised in when using it for designing the jewellery range
Most of us saw Will.I.Am – both on the X Factor and the Capital advert wearing your designs & of course there’s E4 and MTV – which other celebs have worn your designs?
Pharrell Williams, DIDDY, Ludacris, New Boyz, Peaches Geldof, Kid Rock too many more to mention lol
How does that feel?
It feels good knowing they genuinely appreciated my work and are not just posing with it cos I threw it round their necks! lol
Who or what inspires / influences you?
I get inspiration from trends, the streets around us as that is where fashion comes from, the people the kids the youth!
Rapper and previous KiDeSo interviewee Illamadi is your identical twin brother and you guys have made quite a big mark on the world – already – between you. There must be
a lot of hard work and dedication – what do you wish to achieve in the future?
We want everyone to follow the LEGO brick road! Lol seriously we just want to our brand to everybody we can possibly reach
I’ve seen the lego idea used in many places – are you the originator and how does it feel to be emulated?
I feel I genuinely am the creator as I also have seen many building block themed ideas after my work has been about I take it as a compliment and many times people
will associate it with me
Can you name places where your merchandise is sold? (around the world)

What inspired you to use lego?
I inspired me to use Lego! I loved using it as a kid and wanted to continue using it in my adult life through the medium of fashion this time round
So have you got a deal with Lego for supply and demand?
We spoke to them and we got sponsored for a short run but we have sorted out legal talk to make sure everythin we do is in line with keeping us & them seperate even
though they want us to continue doin what we are doing
Did you have to ask their (lego’s) permission to use them?

How do you decide what to make – or do you only make to order?
Nowadays its all custom orders for customers and clients! We try make anything for the people! Its theres to keep after all
Which celeb first wore your designs?
1st celeb was Pharrell Williams, that was nuts when I first saw that!
Which celeb gave you the biggest thrill from seeing them in your designs?
Probably DIDDY as I have been a fan from day dot and have admired his business mind
Am I right in thinking you have a kids range coming out?
Any celeb bambino clients?
Lil Niqo is an 11yr old U.S. rapper signed to DEF JAM and he is one of our clients too! The thing is our product can be for all ages, it just depends on the design, we
sometimes make the kids version smaller in size so it can look asthetically pleasing on the youths!
Now, you’re quite a social network fan, loads of one liners, anecdotes, jokes etc. – how do you find the time to fit it all in and what else do you do to relax?
If you make Lego chains all day you need to keep yourself sane! Crackin jokes, enjoyin good company with good people is how I relax lol
Is it just lego that is your thing – or will you be expanding to other materials?

What are you promoting at the moment?
