"All I wanna do is dance, all I wanna do is sing - All I wanna do is close my eyes and make you smile again..."
Has got to be one of the best lines I have personally heard in the music industry for a very long time!
The effortless style that Kye delivers his lyrics with is definately a style that will have those lyrics swimming around in your head for days.
The band - made up of Anthony and Kye; describe their music as euphoric pop.
Very catchy, very dancy and always unforgettable!!
With a good few hits under their belts already (underground-wise, club-wise or just otherwise) the guys have decided that this is 'make it' time!
You may think that you don't know any of their music - but if you listen to 'Dead Famous' and 'Did I' ; you'll say 'Oh yea, I have heard that - somewhere - couldn't
quite tell ya where - but I know it'
That!! is because their songs are that brilliant that they are under your skin without you even knowing!!
Kye - who once had an encounter with a certain talented and deceased Mr Jackson...
[“I was working for my brother at the time as a labourer,” he remembers.  And we rolled up to this sprawling mansion in my brother’s work van.
“We knew Michael Jackson was sitting five tables away from us, so we couldn’t eat or anything like that. And I went to the loo, and I turned around and he
was standing at the urinal next to me.
“I did the typical Michael Jackson fanatic thing, which I swore on my life I’d never do – I told him, ‘I love you’,”] taken from 'CityLife'   -  ...has a certain flair for
fashion - which I love!
For a couple of guys that are up and coming they can name many, many celeb fans and friends alike including Fearne Cotton and Reggie Yates - who are always
pushing their video/music on certain social network sites.  They can also count Jo Whiley and The Scissor Sisters as past 'colleagues'.
So, where do Diagram Of The Heart fit in in today' society of RnB, Rap, Grime, Rock, Dancehall and other popular music? - Well very nicely I think, a bit like that
wedding dress that you swore you would fit into - and when the time comes, you slip right  in and zip right up and it's like a second skin!
They have already conquered the dancefloor - (as Kye says 'One foot in the dancefloors and one foot in the charts') - now it's just left for them to take on the
rest...  Do these guys have what it takes - yep - that's already been proved!
Now, with the excellent video for 'If I Were You' and the recently released single  ~ Not to mention the Madonna buzz around these guys (word is Queen Madge is
keen to work with them) - it won't be long before everyone else knows what we already know...
People - 'Diagram' will help you leave that 9 - 5 behind,  one lyric at a time and by the end you'll feel free as a bird - and who can we thank for that - but the lovely
 Kye and Ant!!
Good Luck With Everything Guys - You're More Than Worth-it!!

How did you meet?
We met via myspace . Anthony had found a few tunes I posted on youtube and tracked me down. I went over to his to do some writing and we hit it off . The rest is history.
How did you choose the name ‘Diagram of the Heart’?
It was just something we saw somewhere whilst making the album and we loved it. It didn’t sound like any band out there.
What was the freshers tour with Jo Whiley like?
It was great, It was a perfect crowd for us. People who are just up for a good time and Jo was really cool. We had a right laugh with her.
Any celeb numbers in your phone?
A few but that would be telling now wouldn’t it…..
How did you feel when you first heard one of your songs on the radio?
I’ve not heard it yet which is annoying, but I get texts from friends who keep hearing it in places like shopping centres and seeing the video on t.v.
Who gets the most fan mail?
We don’t get any! So feel free to send us some. Isn’t it all done by twitter now though? We get a few mad ones on there.
What’s the strangest and best contact from a fan?
There’s been some crazy requests on twitter mostly for our phone numbers. A lot of people seem to want my jacket. They keep asking me if I will send them it?
How well do you both get on with each other?
Great I think its important to have a good relationship in and out of the studio. Or else you’d never be able to spend as much time as we do together.
Do you write your own music/lyrics?
Yes we write and produce everything together in Ants spare bedroom.
Can you describe your music?
One foot in the warehouse and one foot in the charts. Uplifting euphoric pop.
Describe a day in the studio
I jump on the train in west London and travel to Ants place in east London which takes about an hour and a half. Its good to people watch on the tube as that gives me ideas for
lyrics. Get to Ants have a few cups of tea then we usually start writing around the piano. The song is always the most important thing. Then we build the track around that.
What influences/inspires you in music and in life?
I think just everyday things influence  you I find it hard to write anything unless tis something Ive experienced or seen with my own eyes. Music inspires us the most.
What is your most embarrassing live performance moment – and what is your most memorable / best?
I always have a fear that my flies are un done. It usually happens by about the 3rd song into the set. I cant check or look as its too obvious so I just have to go with it. They never
are. I think both of our favourite gigs so far were supporting calvin harris at ibiza rocks and playing the itunes festival at the  London roundhouse. Both amazing places to play
and great audiences.
What is your most humbling experience?
When we were asked to support the scissor sisters at the Manchester apollo. The night before we had played a gig to about 14 people and all of a sudden we were on this
massive stage infront of 4,000 people. It was intense but we got a great reaction from  there audience. We would love to do more touring with them for sure!
What do you do to relax?
I like to run, go to the gym and then party with friends. I’m not much of a relaxer my mind is always running at a million miles an hour. I always have to keep busy.
Do your family help to keep you grounded?
Of course family and friends. I like having a large group of friends. They shoot me down all the time even just to take the piss. You gotta love em though.
Favourites...
Car? Audi R8 yes pleeaassee
Music?  All kinds- currently loving the new adele record 21 and chase and status no more idols. Would love to work with them both!
Country to visit? USA Loving miami!
Food? Bangers and mash
Designer label? Not really a massive designer label fan usually can find me down portobello market or in topman and river island. Saying that Alexander Mcqueen is a favourite!
Tell us about ‘If I were you’ and the making of the video.
If I were you is set in a post communist factory with a russian feel to the costumes and sets. We wanted a big epic performance video so we went all out for it. There’s a love
interest and the idea behind it was that we were to free the factory workers from there mundane lives of working a 9-5. That’s what Diagram is about really we make music for the
weekend warriors.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years time?
Working on our 3rd album having just completed a world tour. Wouldn’t that be nice
What are you promoting at the moment?
Its all about “if I were you” at the moment. Its released on the 13th of March and we hope everyone gets there copy! Then we have a small tour in march too. See our facebook
page for dates and come see us live. That’s what we live for!
Whats next for Diagram Of The Heart?
Conquering the world… One step at a time.
Kye
