Arguably one of the greatest lyricists of the underground scene; Cyclonious is a King in his own
right.
Anything he turns his hand to, is guaranteed to date your soul and flirt with your mind.
Cyclonious has been in the game a long time; and is well known amongst his peers.
Asked if he thinks he can “make it” – he makes the very valid point that he has made it!!
I am rather inclined to agree with him, after all, in this age of the internet and digital downloads –
surely ‘making it’ is all about recognition as an artist and not recognition on ‘Top of the Pops’.
Born of Caribbean heritage and growing up in East London; Cyclonious is very grounded, very real
and very intelligent. He’s not a rapper that’s got a bag of big chat and nothing to defend it.
Not afraid to stand up for what’s real; not afraid to be real!! In fact he’s as real as they come.
A lyricist, a producer, a business man – he is a King that wears many crowns. When a person dons
many hats; people tend to say ‘Jack of all trades, master of none’. That’s not the case here.
Cyclonious has – some would say – The Midas Touch.
Hailing from a background of music and always wanting to be a musician – it is inevitable that
Cylonious has the dedication and determination that he has today.
Many would put him into the ‘grime’ category – but Cyclonious is in fact and has always been a rapper.
A rapper that produces and writes his own material and has written and produced for other artists also.
Having started out in ‘5th Regiment’ via ‘ ‘Darkside’; he made a decision to move on, so he could move up... and move up he did, he has gone from
strength to strength.
Cyc is already an underground celebrity – how long can it be before he is acknowledged and given the respect he deserves from his wider peers.
The man has a talent so fresh, it’s raw; so sharp, it can cut through anything; so deep, that you have to sit and think about what you’ve just heard.
You hear it, you listen to it, you divulge it, you dissect it; and agree with it or not, you can’t deny he knows his stuff.
KiDeSo’s endorsing him, Lady D’s bigging him up and is downright braggadocious – if you want to be a part of the movement, holla at him – or holla
at KiDeSo and we’ll point you in the right direction!
